Bent stainless steel bristles finished with rounded bead tips reach down into the undercoat where the loose hair actually sits, clearing shed fur, small mats and trapped dirt without scraping at the skin underneath the way a hard rake can.

When the head packs out, one press of the button retracts the pins and the collected hair comes away in a single sheet, so you are not picking fur out of metal teeth between strokes. The body wipes clean in seconds, and the anti-slip handle holds its grip even when your hands are damp, which matters when you are twenty minutes into a big dog and the coat is still coming away. Used two or three times a week through a heavy shed, it keeps a surprising amount of fur off the floor, the furniture and your clothes. Available in blue, grey and pink.

Does it suit long and short coats?

How do I clear the collected hair?
