Fine stainless steel pins work through the coat to lift loose undercoat, mats and tangles, and when the head fills up you press the button on the handle and the pins retract so the whole mass of hair peels off in one piece, straight into the bin.

It suits dogs and cats of every coat type, from short and smooth to long and double-coated. The body is heat and cold resistant from minus twenty to eighty degrees, so it can be washed, left in a car or stored in a shed without warping, and the shaped grip stays comfortable through a longer session with a heavy shedder rather than forcing you to stop and stretch your hand out halfway through. Work in short strokes and stop if your pet shows signs of discomfort, particularly around the belly, ears and legs where skin is thin. Never use the brush on broken or irritated skin, always supervise pets while grooming, and store the brush out of reach of children when you are finished.

Press the button to retract the pins and peel the hair away after every session. Wipe with a damp cloth and dry before storing. The pins are fine steel, so brush with light pressure and stop if your pet's skin looks pink.
